Questions

What SiteJetty does, who it is for, and how plans, support and your data work. Can't find your answer? Reply to any email from us, or ask on our call.

Who SiteJetty is for

Who is SiteJetty for?

SMEs, domain experts and knowledge workers of any kind who want to be visible. If your work rests on what you know, and being found and trusted online matters to it, SiteJetty is for you, whether you work on your own or run a business with a team.

Our partners build your site once. We host it and grow it every month, so you can get back to your own work.

Do I need technical skills?

No. SiteJetty is not a do-it-yourself builder. Hosting, updates, security, backups and changes are our job. You can edit text, images and posts yourself if you want to, but you never have to.

Who is behind SiteJetty?

SiteJetty is a service of Best Business Brands LLC.

What we do

What does SiteJetty do?

SiteJetty is hosting with a team. We host your site and grow it every month. Every plan includes live office hours, tickets to our dev team and changes done for you.

Updates, security, backups and monitoring are our job. Need a change? Reply to any email from us, or bring it to office hours. It reaches our dev team, not a chatbot.

Who audits and builds my site?

Our partners. Sudoma Consulting runs an AI, IT and stack audit that shows where you can save and what to improve. Best Business Brands, a team of experienced developers, uses that analysis to build your site as a one-time project, then hands it to SiteJetty. SiteJetty hosts it and grows it from then on.

More about our partners.

What does SiteJetty include?

Every site includes:

  • Hosting on a global edge network, with SSL.
  • A free public address, name.sitejetty.app, and a private preview at name.sitejetty.dev.
  • Google Analytics connected.
  • Basic SEO: page titles, meta descriptions, sitemap, robots.txt, structured data and social sharing cards.
  • All your social links.
  • Daily backups and uptime monitoring.

Every plan also comes with a team: live office hours, tickets to our dev team, and changes done for you.

How does the build fee work?

The build is a one-time project by Best Business Brands, quoted per project, from $1,500 for a simple static site. Best Business Brands quotes and invoices it, and we agree how you pay it on our call. The monthly plan starts when your site goes live.

How does SiteJetty compare with other website builders and hosts?

SiteJetty is hosting with a team: a team looks after your site every month, and updates, security, backups and monitoring are our job. How that differs from building and running a site yourself on other services is on our comparison page, with a dated source for every fact about them.

Can you move my existing site?

Yes. Moving from the platform you use today is quoted with the build. We'll talk through what you have on our call.

Plans and prices

What plans are there?

Three plans, each a hosting tier and a team retainer sold together. Each has an intro price for the first 48 months and a monthly price after that. The monthly prices are:

  • Launch: $39 a month. A simple site on your own domain, with a team behind it.
  • Growth: $79 a month. More pages, a blog and forms, for a site you publish to.
  • Custom: from $199 a month. Larger sites or more than one, scoped with you.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax that applies. The intro prices and a side-by-side comparison are on the pricing page.

What does each plan include?

Launch:

  • 1 site, up to 10 pages, on your own domain.
  • Or a free .com registered for you instead (first year, on terms of 12 months or more) (coming soon).
  • Monthly office hours, 2 tickets and 30 minutes of changes a month.
  • Replies within 2 business days.
  • 2 editor seats, including yours.
  • Link to your Etsy shop.

Growth:

  • 1 site, up to 30 pages, with a blog and forms.
  • Or a free .com registered for you instead (first year, on terms of 12 months or more) (coming soon).
  • 1 mailbox on your domain included (coming soon).
  • Weekly office hours, 5 tickets and 1 hour of changes a month.
  • A monthly report.
  • Replies within 1 business day.
  • 3 editor seats, including yours.
  • Link to your Etsy shop.

Custom:

  • Up to 3 sites, up to 30 pages each.
  • 3 mailboxes on your domain included (coming soon).
  • A private monthly session plus weekly office hours.
  • 10 tickets and 2 hours of changes a month, and a monthly report.
  • Replies the same business day.
  • Scoped and quoted with you before any work starts.
  • 6 editor seats, including yours.
  • Link to your Etsy shop.
What does the 48-month price mean?

Hosting is billed upfront for 48 months at the intro price, then renews at the renewal price shown next to it. The retainer is billed at its normal price. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee; if we registered a free domain for you, its fee is deducted from the refund.

Can I remove the retainer?

Yes, at checkout. We ask you once to confirm, and you can add it back at any time.

Can I use my own domain, and do I get email on it?

From Business hosting up, yes, in one of two ways: bring a domain you own, or we register a free .com for you (the first year, on terms of 12 months or more; coming soon). It is one or the other, not both. Mailboxes on your domain are coming soon. Mailboxes included: hosting Business 1, Growth 3 and Agency 3 per site; care plans Launch none, Growth 1 and Custom 3. The Extra mailbox add-on adds more, $3 a month per mailbox, on any plan with your own domain. Starter uses the free name.sitejetty.app address only.

What is the difference between hosting and the team?

Every plan is two parts sold together. Hosting is where your site lives: the servers, your address, backups, security and updates. The team is the people who look after it and grow it: live office hours, tickets to our dev team and changes done for you. Each plan pairs them like this:

  • Launch: Business hosting with the Essential team.
  • Growth: Growth hosting with the Plus team.
  • Custom: Agency hosting with the Priority team.

You can remove the team at checkout and keep the hosting; see Can I remove the retainer?

Do I get email mailboxes on my domain?

Mailboxes on your own domain are coming soon, through a mail provider we resell. What each plan will include:

  • Launch: no mailboxes.
  • Growth: 1 mailbox on your domain included.
  • Custom: 3 mailboxes on your domain included.

More are the Extra mailbox add-on, $3 a month per mailbox, coming later, on any plan with your own domain.

Until then, your email stays with the provider you use today.

How do I pay?

By invoice: we send it, and you pay by ACH bank transfer through our Mercury payment page. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax that applies. Reserving a spot is free, and we confirm your price with you before anything is charged.

What isn't included?

Domain registration after the free first year, video hosting and payment processing fees stay separate.

Edits and support

How do I ask for a change?

Reply to any email from us, open a ticket, or bring it to office hours. Every request reaches our dev team. What each plan includes:

  • Launch: live office hours, monthly group session; tickets to our dev team, 2 a month; changes done for you, 30 minutes a month; response target, 2 business days.
  • Growth: live office hours, weekly group session; tickets to our dev team, 5 a month; changes done for you, 1 hour a month; a monthly report; response target, 1 business day.
  • Custom: live office hours, private monthly session, plus the weekly group; tickets to our dev team, 10 a month; changes done for you, 2 hours a month; a monthly report; response target, same business day.
What if I need more changes than my plan includes?

Content or design changes beyond what your retainer includes. They are the Changes add-on, $95 an hour, one-time. You can also move up to a plan with more time each month.

What if something breaks?

We fix it within one business day. Tell us by replying to any email from us. Updates, security, daily backups and uptime monitoring are part of every plan.

Can I edit my site myself?

Yes, if you want to. You and your team change text, images, blog posts and media in the SiteJetty editor, with the editor seats your plan includes. Changes to a page's structure, such as adding sections or changing a layout, are done by our team.

Can I add my own code?

Not on the shared platform. Sites are built from our library of building blocks, and our team builds anything new. Code of your own can run on a dedicated server, which is part of Pro (4 or more sites, or a dedicated server), quoted with you.

Add-ons

What add-ons are there?

Choose a plan and any add-ons on the pricing page, and the checkout shows your monthly and one-time totals. Nothing is charged until you accept a written proposal.

Can more of my team edit the site?

Yes. Each plan includes editor seats, yours counted: Launch 2, Growth 3, Custom 6. Extra seats are the Contributors add-on, $9 per seat per month.

Can I add things later?

Yes. Add an add-on when it helps, or move up to Growth or Custom when your site grows. Not every add-on is ready on day one, and we'll tell you what is available when we talk.

Selling online

Can I sell online from my site?

Yes. There are three ways, depending on how you sell:

  • Link to your Etsy shop: included in every plan and placed on your site as part of your build. Buyers pay on Etsy. Etsy listings on your site, $9 a month, coming later: Show your live Etsy listings, with buyers sent to Etsy to pay.
  • Shopify Buy Button, $19 a month, needs your own Shopify Basic plan, from $29 a month, coming later: Sell your Shopify products on your site; Shopify runs checkout, orders and payouts. Shopify's Starter plan is no longer open to new stores.
  • SiteJetty Store, $49 a month + $750 one-time setup, up to 25 products loaded, coming in 2027: A small shop on your site with Stripe checkout and no percentage of sales.
Do you take a share of my sales?

No. We never take a cut of your sales. With Etsy or Shopify you pay their own fees. With the SiteJetty Store, payments go to your own Stripe account and you pay Stripe's fees.

Your site, your data and leaving

Do I own my site?

Yes, in every way that matters if you leave. Your content, images, brand, domain and data are yours from day one, and design work made just for you is yours once the build is paid. The platform and the building blocks your site is made from stay ours. You get a licence to keep using them in your site, forever, even after you leave; you can't resell them or reuse them for another site.

What happens if I leave?

You get an export of your content, such as your pages, posts and images, and of your data, such as form submissions and subscribers. We help you move your domain. The details go into the written agreement you sign before any work starts.

Where your site lives

Which hosting regions can I choose?

Two: the EU, on servers in Germany, and the US. The region is where your site's content, accounts and form data are kept. Every site is in the EU region unless you choose the US, which is the US data residency add-on, $25 a month per site, coming later.

In either region, Cloudflare serves your pages to visitors from its global network.

Who is the EU region best for?

Anyone with customers or visitors in Europe: their data is kept in the EU, under EU data protection law (GDPR). It also suits anyone who wants the lower price and isn't bound by a US data residency requirement, since the US region is an add-on.

Who needs US data residency?

Anyone whose contract or a regulation requires their data to stay in the United States. Typical cases:

  • US government contractors and their suppliers, for example under FedRAMP, CMMC or ITAR requirements.
  • Some healthcare programmes whose contracts require data to stay in the US.
  • Certain financial, state government and education contracts.
  • Businesses whose own customers' contracts require storage in the US.

The US region keeps your data in the US; it is not a compliance certification. Ask us if you're unsure.

Where are EU sites backed up?

EU sites are backed up daily, in the EU. A second copy in the US comes with the US hosting region when it opens.

How is my site kept safe?

Cloudflare sits in front of every site: it serves your pages over HTTPS from its global network and protects them from attacks. We handle updates and security, take daily backups and monitor uptime. How we handle the details you give us is in our privacy policy.
